Hillside Night of Lights – November 17
Opportunity for students:
We have tickets available for students to sell for the Hillside Night of Lights on November 17. At the event, thousands of shoppers descend on Hillside Mall for great deals, incredible prizes to be won, and to get a jump start on their Christmas shopping. Tickets to this event are a great way for students to earn funds – they sell for $5 and 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each ticket goes to that student’s music account.
Tickets will be available starting this week, in packs of 5 from Mr. Davis and Ms. Kerr. It works pretty simply: students sell the tickets, and bring the money generated and any unsold tickets back to Mr. Davis and/or Ms. Kerr. Opportunity for the RMPA:
We are once again staffing the cost check for this event, so will be looking for 8 volunteers to staff shifts the night of the event. The shifts are a couple of hours and a fun way to promote Reynolds Music Program. Hillside generously provides the RMPA an honourarium for this service, so anyone interested in helping out, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for details. Students are welcome to participate – those hours can go towards any accumulating volunteer hours.
