Thanks for all of your hard work last week as we returned from tour and from Spring Break! Thank you to the mini-band (and conductor, Astrid Niemann) that travelled to Pearkes Arena to perform for the Staff vs. Student Hockey Game on Friday. I appreciate all that you do to support our school community!

1.) Important Junior Band & Choir Tour Updates:
Important Documents: Please make sure you have a copy of the revised itinerary, and parent info/travel information. Please make note of the call times.
**Students, please pick up a hard copy (yellow paper) in the Band Room on Monday.**
Forms & Final Payments: Thank you to everyone that turned in final payments and forms last week. It is greatly appreciated! Monday is the final day to turn in payments and forms. Students will not be permitted to travel without these items. Thank you!
Tour Band Rehearsals: There will be three Junior Tour Band rehearsals this week (Tuesday Lunch, Wednesday Lunch, Thursday at 7:15am). It is essential that you attend these rehearsals AND practice your tour music every night. Absences will jeopardize your spot on the bus. We will also review trip procedures, attendance lists, etc. during these times as well. Bring your lunch and be ready to work!
Loading Crew: Thank you to those students that have volunteered to be on loading crew for this tour. Loading Crew will meet on Friday afternoon at 3:15pm to pack and prepare cases for tour.

TERM 3 REQUIREMENTS AND PRACTICE CARDS (up to and including Week 30) ARE DUE MONDAY April 8th by MIDNIGHT.
I am available in B, C, and D blocks AND at lunch/after school tomorrow if you need to perform any studies/scales. ALL scales and studies can be emailed (this term) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3.) Morning, Lunch, After School Rehearsals, Evening Events
Monday – Blue Band Rehearsal at 7:15am. Requirement Completion at Lunch. Requirement Completion after school 3:15pm – 4:45pm.
Tuesday – Junior Jazz Band at 7:15am. GREEN TOUR BAND REHEARSAL at Lunch (if in Vocal Jazz, go to Ms. Kerr’s rehearsal). Jazz Combo rehearsals 3:15pm – 4:45pm.
Wednesday – MARCHING BAND PRACTICE at 7:15am (bring your boots and make sure you are memoriziing the march at home!). GREEN TOUR BAND REHEARSAL Lunch. Drumline rehearsal 3:15pm – 4:45pm.
Thursday – GREEN TOUR BAND REHEARSAL at 7:15am. Senior Jazz Band at Lunch. Symphony Orchestra Rehearsal #1 3:15pm – 4:45pm., RMPA Meeting at 7:00pm in the Conference Room. Reynolds Alumni Band Rehearsal at 7:00pm in the Band Room.
Friday – NONE! Pro-D Day!
4.) Blue Band & Drumline Performance – Saturday, April 13th – REVISED RUNNING ORDER
Blue Band and Drumline are performing for Lakehill Little League’s opening ceremonies on Saturday.
PLEASE NOTE: We have been asked to set-up and perform EARLIER than published on my original running order. Please see below for a revised running order for this gig.
Loading Crew: Please meet at the school for 8:45am on Saturday. We will load gear and head to Ambassador Park to set-up.
Parent Help Needed!: We are in need of 3-4 trucks/vans to transport gear to and from Ambassador Park. If you are able to assist with this, please let me know by email (email@example.com). Thank you!
Blue Band / Drumline Call Time: is now 9:45am (Please note locations on the running order).
Hard copies will be handed out in Blue Band on Monday.
5.) RMPA Reminders
Monthly Meeting on Thursday 7pm: All parents are welcome to join us for our monthly Reynolds Music Parents Association Meeting in the Conference Room.
Manure Sales (Saturday AM! – McKenzie Parking Lot): Thank you to everyone that has worked so hard selling manure! There are a number of volunteer spots available still. Please see the most recent email from Tracy and Sherrie for more details. See you there!
