6.) Victoria Tuba Christmas – Saturday
Victoria’s annual Tuba Christmas is this Saturday! I highly encourage all of our Tuba and Euphonium players to attend. It’s going to be a fun day in our musical community! If you haven’t seen/heard the Tuba Christmas ensemble – IT. IS. AMAZING. Typically there are 60 – 100 (school aged to “not-so-school-aged”) tuba and euphoniums/baritone players playing Christmas carols in 4 part harmony. The Times Colonist recently described the performance as, a “sonic hug.” How cool is that!?

Rides: Please arrange your own rides to UVic, between UVic & Market Square, and from Market Square to home.
You need: a folding stand and wind clips (borrow from the band room), to dress WARM. We have a few tubas and euphoniums that can be loaned out to students. Please advise if you would like to borrow one. Wear any Reynolds Wear, Band Wear, etc. that you have!
Please let me know if you have questions!
Thanks everyone! Stay afloat and take care of yourself and each other. We have a busy couple of weeks ahead!
