Thank you Sr. Jazz Band and Blue Band! The Mother’s Day concert this afternoon was excellent! Outdoor concerts are challenging but you played extremely well. Congratulations! Thank you to Thomas Anderson (Cedar Hill) and Ethan Slogotski (Spectrum) for subbing in for senior jazz band! Thank you to our fast working student loading crew, the Niemann’s, Andrea de Lange, and Nicolle Underwood for helping with load-up, and tear down today. A huge thank you to Russ Cox for donating a moving truck to transport gear! T
Congratulations to John Leslie (grade 12) – John is away singing with the Ellison Canadian National Honour Choir! We are proud of you!
Thank you to everyone that came to help with the Kamloops School of The Arts “Intro to Marching Band Clinic” on Saturday! It was a lot of fun and you were incredibly helpful and inspiring leaders for a school that wants to start a marching program. 🙂
Our Blue Band had an outstanding clinic with Dr. Steven Capaldo from UVic on Tuesday. Dr. Capaldo worked the ensemble really hard for two hours but the pay-offs were huge! Thank you for keeping an open mind and working so hard!
