Choir/String/Musical Updates for Nov 19

Hello everyone,

Wow, what a week! The Choir Trip to Comox was a total blast and I am so very proud of all of our singers and their outstanding performances at the Choral Valley Festival. They represented our school and music program so well and I am so grateful that I get to be your music teacher. I am so excited to take all that we learned this weekend and take our choirs to the next level of musicality – see you all on Tuesday for our choir rehearsals! Thank you to our awesome chaperones Laura, Fred, Cheryl, Ann-Marie, Alanna and Mr. Davis, we couldn’t have done this trip without you – thank you for your time and your dedication to our students! Performance recordings can be found on our Choir Facebook page – check them out, you sound great!

A few reminders for this week, all rehearsals are business as usual so please show up on time and prepared. We are about a month away from our Winter Concerts on December 18 ( Choir, Strings) and 19 (Vocal Jazz), so make sure you are practicing!

Rent Preview Night is this Thursday, November 22 @8pm. If you bought a ticket from me, then I will meet you at the McPherson Playhouse at 7:15pm and give you the tickets at the door. If anyone is interested in going I have two extra tickets that are $15, so bring me the money and the tickets are yours -first come first serve. The show should be over around 10:30pm for your student to be picked up. It looks like a great show, I am so excited to see it! Mr. Davis, Mrs. Belvedere, Laura and myself will be there to watch the performance and chaperone our students.
