The annual Reynolds Music Department BOTTLE DRIVE fundraiser for Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 9am to 2pm . (Volunteer shifts run from 8:30am to 2:30pm.). This fundraiser supports our school’s contributions to Tour de Rock and our drive to 1 Million Dollars raised to fund cancer research in British Columbia!
IMPORTANT CHANGES: This will be a NO-SORT Bottle Drive! Due to COVID, and to support the needs of the Victoria community, The Bottle Depot has instituted a bottle drive service where NO SORTING and NO COUNTING is required! Instead, our volunteers only need to direct community members in terms of where they need put their donations. The Bottle Depot will provide supplies and our school community will fill as many bags as possible. Bottle Depot staff will sort and count the donations and will pay 80% of the value to Reynolds for our C4C Fundraiser.
PLEASE REMEMBER: All Provincial Health, SD61, and Reynolds Secondary protocols around social distancing apply at this event.
Last year our school community raised over $51,000.
Since 2005, Reynolds students, staff,
and parents have raised $871,425!! Go Roadrunners!!
How can you help this year? There are FOUR ways!!
1.) Bring your recyclable beverage containers to Reynolds this Saturday and drop them off to the volunteers in the parking lot closest to the Band Room.
2.) Spread the word and encourage your friends and relatives to drop off their beverage containers to the school.
3.) Sign up to help on Saturday! Volunteer opportunities for “2020 Reynolds Music C4C Bottle Drive – Saturday September 28th Sign-up” are now open. Please click on the following web link (or copy it into your web browser if clicking doesn’t work) to go to the signup sheet:
